Play it for real
The floor is lava
No foam tiles on the living room floor. No board game. A real interactive floor where red tiles burn and every wrong step costs you the game.
The game everyone knows, now on a real floor
As a child you jumped from sofa to chair. Floor is lava is a classic game where the floor is imaginary danger and you must never touch it. Simple concept, endlessly playable.
At Pixel Play, that logic plays out on an interactive Pixel Floor. The floor is made up of hundreds of tiles with pressure sensors and LED lighting. Red tiles are lava, green tiles are safe, blue tiles earn you bonus points. The floor registers every step and responds instantly.
You are not watching the action, you are the game. The floor decides whether you win or lose, not a referee.

The Pixel Floor reacts the moment you step on it. Tiles light up and the game starts automatically.
Read the colours
Green is safe. Blue earns points. Red is lava. Step on red and you lose points or lives.
Move fast
Tiles change colour constantly. You need to react quickly and navigate smartly to avoid the lava.
Win the heat
Last player standing or highest score wins the heat. Players rotate and the next group steps on.
From age 6, for every group
The game runs at three difficulty levels: easy, medium and hard. On easy, the lava tiles move slower and there is more time to react, perfect for young children or first-time players.
On hard, tiles change at full speed. Teens, adults and competitive groups who want to be challenged choose the higher difficulty.
